Pir Sohawa, situated only 35 minutes from Islamabad is a favourite destination for locals as well tourists with a breathtaking view of the city. It’s a fantastic place for a leisure walk down pleasant jungle paths as there are various trails for trekking the most popular being Trail-3.
In the deep valleys of Pir Sohawa are picturesque thatched mud houses and along the road are a couple of restaurants selling pakoras a favorite snack in the area. The road leading to Pir Sohawa also has Daman-e-Koh. A popular restaurant named “The Monal” is also located at Pir Sohawa.
